Teaching Our Community
About Pollinators
The Bee Bridge is a community-focused educational nonprofit in Fort Worth and North Texas. We place managed honey bee hives on city-owned and public land to create hands-on learning opportunities for everyone — while supporting responsible urban beekeeping that benefits the broader community.

Expand pollinator education and responsible urban beekeeping across Fort Worth and North Texas — so every community can learn about bees, ecology, and the natural systems we depend on.
We are building a nonprofit where public education comes first. Managed hives on city-owned land create visible opportunities for schools, families, and neighbors to connect with nature. Supporting local beekeepers is part of that work — because trained stewards help the whole community learn.
Pollinator education in urban communities
We are early-stage and growing honestly — no inflated numbers, just a clear commitment to community benefit through education.
Education Where People Live
Urban communities rarely get meaningful access to pollinator science. Public land hives put learning in neighborhoods, schools, and parks — not behind private fences.
Pollination Awareness
When people understand how bees support gardens, agriculture, and local ecosystems, they become better stewards of the environments we share in North Texas.
Community Connection
Hands-on programs build public engagement with nature, strengthen local food-system literacy, and create shared pride in sustainable urban living.
Our Programs
Education and outreach are at the center. Bee yards and member support help us deliver that mission to the public.
Education & Outreach
School programs, public workshops, community events, and hands-on tours that teach residents about pollinators, urban ecology, and sustainable living — our central mission.
